Last year, Lindsay Buck, author of Digiduck's Big Decision, spoke to us bravely and eloquently about her struggles with both ante-natal and post-natal depression, and anxiety. But these are not easy issues to discuss - the stigma that is still attached to mental health issues results in widespread silence.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 4th February 2016) is Time to Talk Day. Spearheaded by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, who are running an anti-stigma campaign, the focus of the day is to encourage people to make #timetotalk about mental health issues. England Athletics is supporting by asking people to get out and #runandtalk
It was Angelique who encouraged me to run with the lovely Shona Campbell. Now I can also run like a girl, and we've enjoyed shared de-stressing catch ups galloping amongst the deer in our local park.
