I’m not so keen on Christmas music when shops start playing it in October. Nor the wish lists that start appearing around my house with items like Ipads on them. They can wish all they like but I can guarantee some wishes won’t come true!! My No. 4 son made me very proud by also including sellotape, a tin, a rubber and flowers on his list. He was obviously having a frugal moment, which I wish all my children would have more often.
This Christmas though, we won’t have a tree, nor will we have turkey for Christmas lunch. We’re jetting off to see family in Australia, so instead will be enjoying BBQs on the beach and hopefully lots of warm sunshine. Of course, that’s after we’ve navigated a 24 hour flight with 4 boys, attempted not to lose any luggage, (or small people) along the way, and dealt with the wonders of jet lag after we arrive.
What is your favourite thing about Christmas and what are your top recommendations for gifts for boys and gifts for girls this year. No Ipads please!!
