She started her blog to share the experience she and 'Twin Daddy' had of IVF which ultimately resulted in the birth of her beautiful twin girls 'R' and 'M'. They were born prematurely by planned c-section at 34 weeks, weighing only 4lbs 3oz and 2lbs 11oz. Emily and her husband experienced the worry of having premature babies in special care and neonatal intensive care for 27 days before being able to take them home. Now their girls are approaching their 2nd birthdays and Emily uses her blog, amongst other things, to capture all the exciting and important milestones their twins reach.
We first worked with Emily by contributing a Snoob as a prize in the Charity Raffle Twinmummyanddaddy ran in December last year. They continue to run events to raise money throughout the year for their two chosen charities, Cancer Research UK and Bliss. Both charities are close to their hearts, Cancer Research UK because Emily lost her Mum to Ovarian Cancer at only age 50 in 2005, and Bliss because of their experiences of premature birth and having babies in a special care unit.
We are very proud to be sponsoring Twinmummyanddaddy and wish them well in all their fundraising this year.
