My experience of boys is slightly more limited than Angelique's. I have 3 sons and 2 brothers; Angelique has 4 sons and 3 brothers. However, I too have witnessed plenty of fisty-cuffs and wanton pain-inflicting antics, and been subject to many of them (from siblings obviously) plus some quite frankly dreadful odours (not naming names but not just siblings). And I can concur that boys are quite simply different to girls. We love them but don't necessarily get them all of the time.
My daughter (No 3 in the pecking order) fights the female fight with gusto (Angelique can relate to this!). She is as girlie as she can get away with without attracting too many annoying comments from her brothers. She joins in their games when it suits her, but can't wait until her girl cousins come to play and the boys are at last outnumbered. And she definitely has the last laugh by making poor little No 4 the dog on the lead in HER game!
