A very exciting piece of #Snoobnews is that this week we have launched more products online! We have teamed up with the lovely Sophie Thompson of Sister & Co. and the brilliant Lucy Moore of Educational Learning Mats, and now have the most gorgeously natural coconut oil and fantastically handy learning mats on offer http://www.snoob.co.uk/other-products.html. We are thrilled because we see this as the concrete beginning of expanding Snoob. Keep watching as we have more plans in the pipeline.
Here was the response:
“In the past couple of days my initial perception of Snoob, as a business that seemed solely dedicated to producing breastfeeding scarves, has been completely altered. It is now evident to me that Angelique and Becky are fighting for something much deeper than a booming business – equality. It is a shame that the idea behind their product is sometimes misinterpreted as encouraging women to cover up whilst breastfeeding in public when it is quite the opposite. They are enabling more choice: the options Yes and No have been broadened to allow mothers to consider a new method while remaining at ease with the use of such a discreet product.
Snoob is contributing to the essential social change needed to prevent discrimination against women such as Emily Slough (whose story I was informed of yesterday) and calls for more acceptance of breastfeeding in public. My attitude towards breastfeeding has certainly changed already; I am much more aware of the benefits – for both mother and child – and would even consider this bond with my own children later in life now that I am more educated in its nature.”
We LOVE that feedback!
